Know why you own
everything you own.
Assumio is a private ledger of my investment reasoning — not my returns.
A price tells me what the market thinks. It never tells me whether I was right. This is where I write down why I own a thing, in enough detail to be graded against reality later.
Two layers
Every position is kept in two parts, because the two questions fail differently.
- The numbers. A fixed set of metrics forecast in bear / base / bull each quarter, then checked against the actual print. State is derived, not argued: hit base is holding, drift between bear and base is unclear, fall past bear is broken.
- The claims. The reasoning behind the numbers — why margins expand, why the moat holds. Judged by hand each quarter, because no formula settles them.
Being wrong is dignified
The point is not to look right. A broken claim struck through in the record is worth more than a forecast quietly revised to match the outcome. The ledger keeps the miss, tagged for cause — estimation, reasoning, or external — so the pattern of how I'm wrong becomes visible over years.
Whose record
Mine. The writing and the grading happen on my own machine; what you're reading is the published output. It exists to make me a better investor, one graded quarter at a time.
Not advice
None of this is financial or investment advice. It's a record of my own reasoning, published so I can be held to it — not guidance for anyone else, and not a recommendation to buy or sell anything. The forecasts are my own estimates, and the entire premise is that some of them turn out wrong.
